I Love You, Beth Cooper is an amazing film. It makes you laugh, its not overly disgusting as some of American Pie-type high-school comedy flicks can be, and it even helps audiences be less homophobic, at least through understanding.

The story is about a dorky boy Dennis (Paul Rust) who happens to say in his valedictorian speech that he loves Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere). Incidentally, he also airs his dirty laundry and lets some other class fellows know what he thinks of them. What begins as just an innocent disclosure of love, becomes a whirlwind of action from fighting off foes to really understanding love.

Besides the gorgeous actors, the cinematography is beautiful; I caught myself on numerous occasions being like OMG that is like a scenery I want in my living room–particularly, the scene where Beth is with Denis, together sitting on a dock. The mountains and sun, is gorgeous and it looks painted and you can almost feel serenity.

Even the rear-sides of the sexy army studs, almost (it doesn’t!) pails in comparison to how gorgeous the background is and so balanced in the scene where the studs turn and walk away from the camera.

Any-who, Kevin (Shawn Roberts), the army boyfriend of Beth Cooper, and Greg (Josh Emerson) are played by Canadian actors! And aww, the part with Greg is so cute; you really feel bad for him. Such a cutie.

Its a cute rental flick you should definitely check out.
